Join Us!
Please consider joining the Whitefish Bay Historical Society. We hope to provide details soon on how you can become a member and participate with others in exploring the history of our Village.
Support Us!
Please help us to preserve Whitefish Bay and local history. We are interested in donations of historic artifacts, photographs, and information about individuals/families that have lived in the Village.
The Society welcomes donations of items directly related to Whitefish Bay history. Pictures and printed material are particularly welcome. Because our storage space is limited, we cannot accept larger items such as old furniture, household goods or clothing unless they have a direct link to the Village.
Donated items become the property of the Whitefish Bay Historical Society.
Donated items may be dropped off at Whitefish Bay Village Hall during normal business hours, or at the Krigbaum Law firm, located at 227 East Fairmount Avenue in Whitefish Bay.
Donors who have old household items or items such as pictures more directly related to Milwaukee history should contact the Milwaukee County Historical Society: 414 273-8288, 910 N. Old World Third St. Milwaukee, WI.
If you have questions about whether old pictures, documents and other artifacts would be useful to the Historical Society, we would be happy to discuss them with you. Contact Tom Fehring at 332.2182, or leave a message regarding your potential donation at the Whitefish Bay Village Hall.
Monetary donations are also welcome to help us provide community education and programming, support the Village's "Medallion Project" which showcases historic and architecturally significant homes and other sites within the Village, and to provide appropriate storage for our archived items.
Monetary donations should be sent to the Whitefish Bay Historical Society c/o WFB Village Hall, 5300 N. Marlborough Drive, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217. All donations will be acknowledged.
